Advice is excellent. The problem is when advice becomes your default response. It’s called an advice-giving habit.
The reason it goes wrong is that you are trying to solve the wrong problem, your advice is really not as good as you think it is and its often poor leadership.
We need to learn how to tame our advice monster and be more coach-like.
